Review time! Ever wonder what it’s like to work at a book store? Well, Honda and his zany masked friends are here to help! Though you might find it is not your typical bookstore experience, given your tour guide is an overworked, underappreciated bookseller that is a skeleton. Skull-faced Bookseller Honda-san is a very strange anime (but what else is new?) where our bony protagonist deals with BL fangirls, people from Europe, America and Brazil (and desperately flails his passable English), and the demands of upper management, all while trying to keep his sanity. But in his own words, “So you want to work in a bookstore? That is nice of you, but please reconsider!” Funny and informative, with each episode being around 11 minutes, you should be able to watch it all in a couple of hours. So if this sounds like your cup of green tea, then give it a watch, and at the very least, you can appreciate everything booksellers have to deal with.
