Recovery of an MMO Junkie

Review time! When hardworking office woman Moriko Morioka quits her job, she becomes a “Elite NEET” and turns her attentions towards the world of MMOs, in which she creates a male character in game named Hayashi. When struggling early on in the game, she is approached by a kind female character named Lily, who offers her help and a spot in her guild. In the real world, however, she seems to have multiple run ins with a handsome stranger named Yuta Sakurai. Though very soon, her online and offline lives are about to be changed forever, as Yuta is more deeply connected than she could possibly imagine. And wouldn’t you know it: he seems to have fallen for her! Recovery of an MMO Junkie is a wonderful, hilarious romp, that has great characters and a beautiful romance. Yuta and Moriko are darling together and the way Yuta treats her is nothing short of heartwarming. The series is only 10 episodes, and since the author has been in poor health for years, we are unlikely to get any new adventures of any kind. But you owe it to yourselves to watch it, as it has quickly become one of my favorite RCAs! So log on, and let the romance (and hilarity) begin!
